Fostering a community of care through the power of nutrition
Food & Friends improves the lives and health of people with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses that limit their ability to provide nourishment for themselves.
We are the Washington, D.C. region's leading authority on Food is Medicine and the only community-based organization delivering medically tailored meals and providing medical nutrition therapy to neighbors living with cancer, HIV/AIDS, and other serious illnesses.
Food & Friends believes that anyone can get sick and everyone can help. We are committed to providing compassionate care through nutrition support to those facing life-challenging illnesses, treating every client with dignity and respect.

Whether you want to volunteer your time, make a donation, or refer someone who needs our services, there are many ways to get involved with Food & Friends.
